Network Operations 1st Shift Manager

Peraton is seeking a Network Operations 1st Shift Manager to join our team. This is a hybrid position with personnel working both remotely and on-site at CBP facilities in Springfield, VA, and Orlando, FL. The manager will support the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) network management and operations, including incident monitoring, analysis, and resolution.

Requirements

• 6+ years of work experience
• U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a CBP Public Trust
• 4+ years of experience in a NOC environment providing Tier II support
• Working knowledge of OSI Model Layers 1-3
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP and network technologies
• Familiarity with network security devices, IPsec VPNs, routing, switching, VRF, VLANs, bandwidth utilization, and load balancers
• Experience using Wireshark, Syslog, Netscout, and SteelCentral to monitor, capture, mine, and interpret data
• Proven experience troubleshooting, upgrading, and implementing Cisco switches and routers
• Experience troubleshooting, upgrading, and implementing Cisco ASA Firewalls
• Experience troubleshooting, upgrading, and implementing F5 Load Balancers
• Experience writing firewall rules, NAT configurations, and IPsec communications
• Ability to manage, audit, and deploy network device configurations via HPNA
• Experience using trouble-ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or Remedy
• Knowledge of Incident, Change, Problem, and Request management practices
• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of related experience, or Master’s degree with 4+ years of related experience
• CompTIA Security+
• Cisco Certifications: CCNA Routing and Switching, CCNP Routing and Switching, CCIE Routing and Switching
• F5 Certifications: CA, F5-CTS
• Riverbed Certifications: RCSA, RCSP
• Cisco ASA Firewall Certifications: CCNA Security, CCNP Security

• Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000
