NOSC Tier 2 Technical Team Lead

Sev1Tech is looking for a Tier 2 Technical Team Lead to provide daily management and oversight to a team of technicians providing support for a 24x7x365 Network Operations Security Center (NOSC) on a large government program.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security or equivalent education
• Five (5 plus) years routing/switching experience in an engineering support capacity in LAN/WAN networks
• Ten (10 plus) years of experience in government IT contracting
• Previous experience managing teams in a 24x7x365 shift environment
• Knowledge of network protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP
• Experience with Cisco command line interface and configuration
• Experience working with wireless technologies, Virtual Private Networks (VPN), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), WAN Accelerators, and associated technologies
• Working knowledge of ServiceNow in creating, updating, and closing tickets
• Certification Requirement: CCNA certification
• Clearance Requirement: Public Trust clearance or higher; Public Trust clearance with Dept of Homeland Security (DHS) or Customs & Border Protection (CBP) preferred
