Operations Engineer

As an Operations Engineer at ING Americas, you will be responsible for monitoring, supporting, and running the IPA service, incident management, and root cause analysis. You will also implement and work with the latest tooling, automate testing and deployments, and ensure IT risk and security controls are in place. This is a hybrid work model position, allowing for in-office and work-from-home flexibility.

Requirements

• Good knowledge on CI/CD and experience with Git, Python, Ansible, Shell scripting and working experience with JVM based applications
• Strong Linux (RedHat Enterprise Linux 7 or 8) skills
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools such as Jenkins
• Familiarity with Grafana and tools for alerting like Prometheus
• Good understanding of the ELK Stack and how to interact with it
• Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, ServiceNow, Checkmarx
• Experience or affinity with IT Risk & Security concepts
• IT Operations/Support experience, including Functional support to end users
• Analytical skills to identify root causes in workflows incidents
• Customer focus, with the mindset to find and resolve root causes of incidents
• Good team player, cross functional, enjoys interacting with people of all levels in a multicultural environment
• Proactive and attentive to other’s needs
