Principal Software development Engineer

We are looking for a Principal Software Development Engineer to join our Ticketing Platform Engineering group. As a technical champion, you will design, implement, and lead the execution of large, complex, and deeply integrated tooling services for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. You will work with senior architects and product management to define requirements, design and implement new features, and collaborate with the OCI Engineering communities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience architecting, designing, and implementing enterprise server-side Java application
• Proven success in building high-volume, low latency cloud services using latest cloud native capabilities, Java/J2EE technologies and open source frameworks
• 5+ years of experience working with leading cloud platforms such as OCI, AWS, Azure and managing service in production.
• Experience in Infrastructure as code tools like terraform and Ansible
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell for automating tasks and managing infrastructure.
• Strong background on Linux
• Experience on Containerisation, Docker, Kubernetes
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
• Solid organization, communication and interpersonal skills
• Prior expertise in any ticketing system like Jira, Servicenow is added value.
