Production Support Specialist

We are seeking a Production Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide IT support and expertise to ensure effective IT services in our Service Operations area. This is a challenging role that requires strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities.

Requirements

• Completed university degree in a scientific or technical field with a focus on IT; alternatively, comparable education
• Understanding of distributed IT systems and the IT operation of complex application and infrastructure environments
• Experience with various IT technologies, such as Windows, RHEL, VMware, IBM Mainframe, DB2/Oracle/MS SQL databases, middleware, SAP as well as job scheduler and automation tools (preferably Automic UC4)
• Familiar with ITIL processes and the application of IT operational process-relevant tools (e.g. ServiceNow, JIRA, ALM)
• Open-minded, empathetic and strong communicator personality who knows how to convince others, set priorities and effectively pass on knowledge combined with a high customer and service orientation towards internal and external contacts.
