Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

DB Global Technology is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to operate and scale custom-built mission-critical products for engineering, test, and production. The ideal candidate will be flexible, possess broad skills across product operations and software development, and flourish in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Requirements

• Experience of working in Production Support team favorable
• Deep Understanding of the HTTP protocol and REST APIs
• Working experience with AppDynamics, and Splunk
• General understanding of iOS and Android operating systems
• Good Understanding of Oracle databases / SQL
• Experience with source code and version control tools such as Subversion or Git
• Experience with workflow and issue management tools such as JIRA and ServiceNow
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems/IT or engineering
• Systems Administration and Site Reliability Engineering skills
• Java and Spring Boot webservice development experience
• Swift and/or Kotlin mobile app development experience
• Understanding of OAuth 2.0 framework
• Experience with continuous integration pipelines and tools
• Focus on performance bottlenecks and performance improvement techniques
• Must be comfortable working with mission critical and complex systems, with a sense of urgency appropriate to the responsibilities
• Excellent communications skills with the ability to communicate with customers, peers, management etc. in both formal and informal situations
• Languages: English (fluent), German (nice to have)
