Server/Compute Operations Engineer

Wabtec Corporation is a leading global provider of equipment, systems, digital solutions, and value-added services. We are seeking a Server/Compute Operations Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru, India. The successful candidate will manage and monitor installed systems and infrastructure, ensuring high availability and troubleshooting skills.

Requirements

• Experience with ticketing tools like Servicenow/JIRA/Remedy etc.
• Experience in monitoring tools like Solarwinds/JIRA/REMEDY
• Experience with virtualization (e.g., VMware, Virtual Box)
• Good to have cloud environment experience (Azure/AWS)
• Good to have Experience with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible)
• Hands on Network experience on Router, Switches, Firewalls, AP's, VPN's
• Knowledge of Networking protocols TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.
• BE/B.Tech in computer science / Electronics & communications / IT
• Good to have certifications: MCP/MCSA/Azure/AWS/ITIL.v4
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work flexible hours/shifts
• Good written and verbal communication skills
