SITEC - Asset Manager - Software

The Asset Manager - Software is responsible for managing software licenses, maintaining the accuracy of Configuration Items in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), and ensuring regular housekeeping of the asset database. The role requires experience in software licensing, asset management, and IT service management.

Requirements

• Min 9 years with HS Diploma, 7 years with AS/AA degree, 5 years with BS/BA, 3 years with MS/MA
• A DoD TS/SCI clearance is required
• DoD 8570.01M IAT-II AND ITIL Foundations OR CSAM - IAITAM (Software Asset Management Specialist Cert)
• Experience with Microsoft Enterprise Software Licensing
• Experience with software licensing models for Enterprise type software (Microsoft, Adobe etc.)
• Experience analyzing contracts for IT equipment, support maintenance and licensing
• Experience working with a Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
• Experience tracking IT assets through their lifecycle
• Experience working with an ITSM tool such as BMC Remedy/Helix, ServiceNow, Jira, etc.
• Experience developing governance, policies, and processes
