DXC Technology seeks a Sr. Analyst II Software Engineering to work remotely in Puerto Rico. The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial and open-source applications, strong analytical problem-solving skills, and proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python.

Requirements

  • Ability to install commercial and open-source applications for use on a large multi-platform network.
  • Ability to work closely with Engineering customers, understand business needs, perform root cause analysis, help drive the resolution of issues, and propose process improvements.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues by assessing multiple components such as software, network, data access, user environment, OS, and licensing.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with attention to detail, well organized, takes initiative with minimal supervision, and can quickly pick up new skills.
  • Experience with supporting business critical custom and COTS Engineering applications.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, Fortran, Java, Perl/Shell scripting, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Experience with Visual Studio, GitHub, Oracle databases/SQL, Qt GUI development, LSF, Documentum, Linux, Windows, Unix ACLs, Samba, file encryption, MFT for secure file transfer, MQSeries, ServiceNow, MS Office Tools, Sharepoint, Jira.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and communication skills in the English language.
