The Senior Software Engineer, ServiceNow writes and maintains code within ServiceNow to implement capabilities and features and improve performance and maintainability while reducing technical debt in alignment with product and technology roadmaps.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, CMDB, and Service Catalog.
  • Expertise in building and managing Scripted REST APIs for external system integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Application Development, including creating and maintaining custom applications.
  • Experience with DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines for ServiceNow development, using tools like Git is a plus.
  • Strong skills in JavaScript, Glide Scripting, and API Development.
  • Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow development tools, including Studio, Flow Designer, Service Portal, and Virtual Agent.
  • Working experience with Agile application development practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 4 years’ experience in a related field.
  • Certified in ServiceNow system administration and/or application development (CSA, CAD).
  • Preferred Qualification: ServiceNow Micro or Implementation Certifications, Agile Certifications.
