ServiceNow is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join their Data Center Operations team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in web development, messaging protocols, and data centers, and is passionate about building, automating, and deploying scalable solutions.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience with Java or a similar OO language
- Experience with node.js and REST APIs
- Passion for JavaScript and the Web as a platform, reusability, and componentization
- Positive “can do” attitude and self-motivated with the ability to multitask
- Experience with data centers, distributed systems and platforms
- Ability to understand abstract requirements and translate them into implementations
- Interest in data analysis and utilization, including standardising metrics, making dashboards, and workflows
- Proven ability to work in a team and collaborative mindset
- Ability to work with a diverse group of stakeholders to deliver solutions in a timely manner
