System Configuration Engineer

M&G Global Services Private Limited is seeking a System Configuration Engineer to join their Platform Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing critical platforms, running Azure estate, and supporting engineering teams to drive business value in technology.

Requirements

• Fluent in both verbal and written English
• Strong Expertise in setting up ServiceNow ITOM – Cloud Mgmt.
• Experience in configuration of IT Service Management, Incident Mgmt, Problem Mgmt., Change Mgmt., Release Mgmt., Service Request, Service Portal, Service Catalog, Asset and User Set up
• A deep understanding of infrastructure alerting, trending of data and fine tuning to ensure incidents are created when necessary and false alerts minimised
• Understanding of service maps and ability to utilise them to provide meaningful data to key stakeholders
• Experience in configuration of CMDB, Asset Mgmt.
• Experience in creating custom processes, custom 3rd party integrations and custom applications
• Experience in designing Technical (LLD) Design Documents, Training Documents etc.
• Experience in conducting Technical Reviews, End User Trainings
• Demonstrate an awareness of Best Practices of ServiceNow implementation
• An understanding of cloud platforms e.g. (Azure, OCI, GCP)
