Nomios is seeking a Network and Security Engineer to join their Services Team. The role involves providing 24/7 support to customers, monitoring and troubleshooting network issues, and collaborating with other teams to ensure seamless operation of UK-based ISP and Enterprise networks.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good understanding and hands-on experience of working on IP, OSPF, BGP, and MPLS based networks
- Good understanding of Carrier Ethernet MEF2.0 & MEF3.0 concepts
- Good understanding of optical CWDM and DWDM technologies
- Good experience with ticketing systems such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, NetAdmin, etc.
