The Opportunity: Analyze work process design and flow, improve processes, and leverage technological capabilities. The ideal candidate will have expertise in implementing and maintaining robust security models and/or configuring Absence Management in Workday. This role emphasizes ensuring data security, adherence to least privileged access principles, and optimizing absence configurations to support business operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Workday Security, including intersection and segment security, or 3 years of experience configuring Workday Absence Management
  • Strong understanding of data security measures, enforcing least privilege access to minimize security risks
  • Hands-on experience with advanced security configuration tools within Workday to optimize access management
  • Ability to create, manage, and maintain security policies, roles, and domain security policies to align with organizational needs
  • Experience in conducting security audits, ensuring compliance with SOX controls, and maintaining audit trails for accountability
  • Efficiently manage role assignment requests, ensuring proper approvals and adherence to security protocols
  • Hands-on experience in configuring Workday Absence Management, including setting up absence plans, time-off policies, and accrual calculations to ensure accurate leave tracking
  • Proficient in designing and managing calculated fields, condition rules, and eligibility criteria for absence events to align with business requirements
  • Skilled in managing year-end accrual configurations, ensuring accurate adjustments, compliance with company policies, and seamless rollovers
  • Experience in configuring and managing leave of absence setups, including eligibility rules, return-to-work processes, and compliance considerations
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Excel for data analysis and reporting
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow HRSD
  • Workday Pro Security certification or Workday Absence Pro certification is highly preferred
  • Additional experience in configuring other Workday modules (e.g., HCM, Benefits) is a plus
