An IT Support Engineer in a 24/7 shift system provides technical assistance and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues both remotely and on-site. They diagnose problems, implement solutions, and maintain systems to ensure smooth IT operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a relevant equivalent
  • First experience in providing first-line IT support or an IT course/education
  • Basic knowledge of hardware, operating systems, software, and networking concepts
  • Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical users in a clear and friendly manner
  • Basic experience with service desk- and remote tools (e.g. ServiceNow, Jira)
  • Certifications (optional but beneficial): CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Fundamentals, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
