We are looking for a Linux Systems Administrator/Field Engineer to support operational systems at multiple military locations, both CONUS and OCONUS. The role involves troubleshooting, providing technical support, and guiding development teams on hardware and software.

Requirements

  • Security Clearance: A current Secret level U.S. Government security clearance is required; U.S. Citizen required.
  • At least 9 years of experience in Linux Systems Administration with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, etc.
  • Experience performing software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software applications.
  • Experience working closely with Software or Systems Development teams to troubleshoot systems and applications.
  • Experience leveraging a ticketing system for support requests (JIRA, ServiceNow, etc.)
  • DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certifications (i.e. Security+).
