Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Join our Edinburgh based team as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to help deliver value to our customers through our digital channels. You will be responsible for managing Route To Live (RTL) environments, creating and delivering implementation plans, and analyzing problems in RTL environments and production.

Requirements

• Engineering background with strong understanding of change delivery to digital products, including Release Engineering, managing RTL environments and CI/CD tooling, version control, and deploying code into Production.
• Proven experience with modern DevOps and CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, Spinnaker, UrbanCode Deploy, Harness, Unleash, and ServiceNow.
• Experience in one or more cloud platforms (preferably GCP) and deep understanding of containerisation through Docker and Kubernetes.
• Track record in cost and service optimisation, ensuring capacity demands can be met and resource consumption aligns with budget forecasting.
• Ability to grow your own capabilities and develop the skills of others in the team through training and coaching.
• Strong analytical skills to find and deliver the best technical solutions to specified problems across our systems and processes.
• Collaboration skills, including working with fellow SREs, Engineers, Integrators and Service teams to support the definition of roadmaps, technical designs and change delivery.
