The client is seeking to replace the current Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for their Newborn Screening program with a new Newborn Screening Program Laboratory and Follow-up Information Management system. The selected candidate will work with multiple internal and external stakeholders and selected vendor(s) to analyze, plan, and implement the new version of the LIMS.
Requirements
- 8 years of experience in project management, preferably with large, complex automation implementation efforts
- 8 years of experience in demonstrated project management on system deployments with multiple clients
- 8 years of experience in proven track record of delivering projects and work streams with aggressive timelines and deliver within scope, budget, and schedule
- 8 years of experience in objective decision-making ability based on strategic objectives priority, business performance analysis, and resource availability
- 7 years of experience in hands-on experience managing project risk, cost, schedule, quality, testing, and communications
- 7 years of experience in strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills
- 3 years of experience in demonstrated oral and written communication and presentation skills
- 7 years of experience in solid work experience with project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project)
- 7 years of experience in MS Office and SharePoint
- 5 years of experience in demonstrated experience with both Waterfall and Agile Projects
- 8 years of experience in demonstrated experience with vendor management on a large IT project/system implementation
- 8 years of experience in demonstrate technical architecture/infrastructure knowledge and experience, including experience with multiple hardware platforms and operating system
- 8 years of experience in demonstrate technical knowledge and analysis skills with hands-on experience in development, data base design, and web-based technologies
- 5 years of experience in demonstrated experience working with DPH public health lab system and programs
- 3 years of experience in extensive understanding of SharePoint end user experience, sites, libraries, lists, and groups
- 5 years of experience in experience in health care industry
- 5 years of experience in experience leading and Implementing COTS and SAAS Projects
- 7 years of experience in experience writing RFPs/technical writing
- 3 years of experience in understanding of the fundamentals of iterative and incremental development
- 5 years of experience in experience playing the Scrum Master role for a software development/maintenance teams that was diligently applying Agile/Kanban values and principles
- 5 years of experience in PMP Certification from PMI. Scrum Master certification is a plus
- 3 years of experience in ability to help manage Scrum team backlog and/or Kanban Flow, and priorities using agile-based tools (ServiceNow, Jira, Version One etc.)
- 5 years of experience in experience managing legacy system upgrade/migration, data conversion activities, and building roll-out plans
