The role involves maintaining the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). This includes overseeing data governance, defining the structure of the configuration management system, and supervising mapping and discovery activities. You will be critical in improving incident and problem management, streamlining change processes, optimising asset utilisation, mitigating risks, and aligning IT infrastructure with strategic business goals.
Requirements
- 5+ years of proven experience in managing a CMDB in ServiceNow
- Experience building CMDB in the technology industry or within technical groups within a large, global organisation
- Experience with ServiceNow configuration management and Service Mapping
- A strong understanding of IT infrastructure and data management principles
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
