ServiceNow Engineer plays a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining solutions within the ServiceNow platform, responsible for delivering robust technical solutions and supporting IT Operations Management, IT Asset Management, and ServiceNow integrations.
Requirements
- Strong experience in ServiceNow platform development, including ITSM, ITBM, ITOM, and ITAM
- Familiarity with ServiceNow CMDB architecture, Discovery, and data reconciliation techniques
- Experience or knowledge of Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM)
- Understanding of license compliance, asset lifecycle management, and software usage tracking within ServiceNow
- Solid knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow scripting
- Experience working with REST and SOAP APIs for system integrations
- Understanding of ServiceNow data structures, including tables, CMDB, and relationships
- Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Basic knowledge of ServiceNow security models, including ACLs and role-based access control
- Exposure to workflow automation, Flow Designer, and ServiceNow App Engine
- Understanding of ITIL processes
