ServiceNow is seeking a Systems Engineer - Federal to join their team. The successful candidate will build software tools to automate deployment and testing of compute infrastructure, scale critical services to support customer growth, and apply test-driven development principles. The role requires experience in integrating AI into work processes, familiarity with OpenStack, and a strong background in programming with Python.

Requirements

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or equivalent work experience
  • Familiarity with OpenStack
  • A strong background in programming with Python
  • A strong background in Linux systems architecture and engineering
  • Experience managing infrastructure as code with terraform
  • Experience with applying a configuration management platform such as Puppet at scale
  • Understanding of core concepts around Kubernetes and Docker
  • Prior experience in software development or release management is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with virtualization and cloud infrastructure technologies
