The Workday Release Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the strategic roadmap for Workday releases across the organization. This role requires a strong leader who can drive cross-functional collaboration, establish release governance standards and ensure seamless on-time deployment of Workday features and updates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or 7 years experience in Human Capital or Financial systems management
- Workday and/or Project Management certifications preferred
- At least 5 years of software application release and project management experience
- At least 3 years of experience managing Workday projects
- At least 3 years of Workday experience with HR, Payroll and Finance; a deep understanding of Workday Human Capital Management and Financial modules is required
- Experience with OneSource Virtual, iCIMS and ServiceNow strongly preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven experience in developing and managing release calendars, schedules and communications across different teams to coordinate releases
- Natural leader and collaborator with a proactive, customer-focused attitude and approach
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders without direct authority
- Innovative mindset with a passion for driving leading edge processes and technologies
